  • 1RM: Is a maximum repetition, the maximum weight that can be lifted during a determined exercise


  • AMRAP: As many rounds and repetitions as possible
  • AFAP: As far as possible.
  • AHAP: As heavy as possible


  • BOX: Affiliate Reebok Crossfit gym
  • BP: Bench Press
  • BSQ: Back squat
  • BW: Body Weight
  • BJ: Box Jump


  • C&J: Clean and Jerk
  • CLN: Clean
  • CF: CrossFit
  • CTO: Chest to overhead


  • DL: Deadlift, raise weight from the ground
  • DU: Double Under


  • EMOM: Every minute on the minute.


  • FSQ: Front squat. A squat with weight in front of shoulders
  • Fran: 21-15-9


  • GHD: Glute - Ham Developer
  • GHD- situp: A situp in the GHD
  • Girl workouts: WODs called as a female. 


  • Hang clean: A lift starting from the DL final position, hanging from the arms with elbows extended
  • HSn: Hang Snatch
  • H2H: Hand to hand
  • HSPU: Hand stand push ups. Vertical push ups
  • HPC: Hang Power Clean
  • HS: Hand stand


  • Kb: Kettlebells
  • KBS: Kettlebell Swing
  • KBSn: Kettlebell Snatch
  • K2E: Hanging from the bar, take your knees to elbows
  • Kipping: Swing to improve the impuls in pullups


  • Med ball clean: Medicinal ball lift
  • Muscle up: Holding the rings, is a combination of a sustained with a triceps depth. End the movement with the elbows straight and supporting the body on the rings


  • OHsquat: Over head squat. Squat with arms extended upwards with an overhead bar hold


  • PC: Power clean. Lift from the ground barely flexing the knees to make the catch correctly
  • PP: Push press. Shoulder push to take the weight from rack position to overhead
  • PSN: Power snatch. Snatch from the ground barely flexing the knees to make a correct catch
  • PU: Pull up. With complete elbow extension, take chin over the bar

  • PJ: Push Jerk


  • Reps: Repetitions of a concrete exercise
  • Rounds: Number of laps on a determined circuit
  • RFT: Rounds for time
  • RX: WOD without adaptation
  • RM: Repetition max
  • ROM: Range of motion


  • SDHP: Sumo dead lift high pull. Strenght lift with close grip, taking the bar right under the chin
  • Snatch: Lift a weight from the ground over the head
  • SQ: Squat
  • STO: Shoulder to overhead


  • T2T: Toes to bar.
  • TGU: Turkish get up.
  • Tabata: During 4 minutes, 20 seconds work and 10 rest.


  • Unbroken: Non stop


  • WOD: Workout of the day
